How do you get a cork spin on a tramp to come around, when i lay back and spin, i just end up landing on my back. any tips are welcome.

You gotta follow through. You're setting the rotation but you're not finishing it off. When you set the rotation think about setting back down eventually, when you are actually corked set it in motion. I really dont know how to explain it, but think of landing it like you would come out of a misty (which I bet you can do). Shit, that might help you, but getting out of those really off axis spins are not easy to explain 'on paper.'

sit the rotation with your leading shoulder rather than trailing arm

its sort of like a misty. Act like you are doing a misty but lean back. Sometimes you land off the tramp.

what you're doing is turning onto your side, and then spinning. you have to throw yourself backward more

'its kinda like a misty but you lean back'

that is the most bullshit you could ever imagine

misty and cork are nothing alike... whoever said that has no clue.

the way that me and levin learned was to try doing a 180 to misty 540.... and then once you do it a few times you can start to float it forward instead and it becomes either dspin or cork depending on how hard you throw.

and for those of you who will talk shit back.. dont... cause it worked well for me to think of it like that on the snow too...

I do know what im talking about. Iwannastompalot said he sometimes does corks when he tries mistys. They dont look similar but the motion to do them is similar.

bio's are more similar to mistys than corks

dirty, i believe that would be a dspin, because a cork never goes iverted, and on a misty, you do.

okay, a cork spin is probably one of the easiest tricks you can do as long as you can spin properly (not hucked).

Before you do a corked spin, you must be able to spin and tuck up while you spin and be able to grab safety (at least that is the way for me). When you goto spin, jump and then as soon as you start the spin, look directly down at the trampoline. If you do that, your should should drop and you should cork. Just continue to spin until you get to 540 or 720 and naturally you will come out of it.

They are quite easy, I stomped it first time after I was taught correctly.

an inverted misty is still called a misty, though it should be called a front full. but, by definition a misty is rolled, not inverted. but who cares about definitions. half the people who do mistys do them inverted and they are still mistys.

yeah just like commit throw hard and let yourself go off axis and you come back to your feet.

...thats what I meant, obviously you dont just lean back and throw a misty, that would be kinda fucked up, I thought its understood that you set the rotation (ie leaning back and kinda spinning...like a 180) then throw the misty. If you do a straight 180 to misty it wont look as good.

bio = spinning with a forward off axis rotation... like halfway between misty and regular, some people call it differential.

misty = forward spin think about rolling your back across a table when at the top of your rotation.

rodeo = loop 180 kinda... a bit more flowed together though.

cork = spin wich is tipped back off of regular axis. not inverted

dspin = upside down back corking spin... almost a back full.

Dirty good job on the tricks, i couldn't have done it better. I landed a cork finally, all i did was lean to the side and spin, then let it come around so i was laying back then it just came around. I could even do cork 3s like that.

a corked spin feels exactly like a normal spin, except its way easier to land on your feet. Because you know your gonna be off axis, your not scared about it, where as if you are just spinning normally you shit your pants if you become off axis. Anyways, just spin like normal, but tilt your head way back while you are looking around. You'll go super off axis, and it will feel weird your first time, but after like 3 trys it becomes habit to just land it. Its so easy. It took my like 4 months to learn, and then one day I just did it and I haven't fallen since. Good idea is to get a camcorder and film yourself jumping on the tramp. You'll see exactly what you are doing and you can pinpoint mistakes like not tucking up enough. Hope this helps

what's an inverted backflip called?

for me i tuck up and do a mute and pull to the way i need to go this helps me get in to the cork rotation. the same for rodeos i can do them better if grab. and if i dont tuck they turn in to backflips

the way I do it is when I bounce, I move my arms like im going to do a hard spin, but move my head and shoulders a bit back, like im trying to touch my shoulder with my nose...

and push forward a bit with my hips, ill post a movie as soon as I get my trampolene set up at my new house
