Cork 990 to rail....

alright we need a new rule:

stop posting about crazy shit unless there's a video seriously it's getting annoying...

(by the way my buddy did a switch triple front flip the other day....video is coming soon)

damn sooo much progression this season

1. world record cliff hucked

2. truckdriver and double nose are like the flu

3. 1620 by mike clarke

4.sarah burke and her first women's 1080

i think theres more im just too lazy...wow keep it up guys

thats a pretty weak argument.

if it takes more skill to 450 and 270 on a large down rail then why are there only 3 people that have gap 50 feet to rail and done an 810....?

and it's pretty easily arguable that gapping 50 feet while spinning a cork 810 and landing on a rail is just as if not harder then 450 or 270 onto a 50+ foot rail.

When it comes to tricks i don't give a flying fuck what's harder. People are to obssessed with that shit.

If you make it look dope as fuck, im all for it wither it be a switch cork 5, or a switch 10.

Yeah I totally agree with you but I'm going to have to side with the other dude and say a 450 onto a 50ft. rail would be harder. Think of it, you have to stop your rotation and hold that balance for the whole rail... to be honest I haven't seen anyone do a spin that big to slide a rail that long.

yea, i know what its like to land on a rail. ive had my share of 450s and 630s.i will think that cork 990 is the dopest shit ever onto a rail when someone can land on a rail and grind for a second or 2. but as for now, spinning onto a rail and grinding for 5 or 10 feet going mach 10 is impressive and takes balls but not amazing

definatly agree. this goes for switch 10's, switch 1440's, and big spins onto rails. but still spinning cork 990 to a rail is absoutlety insane and if some of you are about to say thats "gay" or "lame" i'de think again and actually think how difficult that would actually be. you have to hit the jump perfect, spin, and know where to stop in your spin 990, then land on a rail. sure it may not look steezy but 990 then landing on a rail! thats fucking insane

a lot of times, i'll start on a smaller jump with a new trick and just huck it to get comfortable with throwing the trick. then you work your way up

I really hoep someone catches there front edge and spanks there head real hard, i bet they will be more dizzy then smokin crack.

no not at all, every pro can do a a switch 1080, and thats all we see at big air comps, 810 to rails are seldom seen and onle a couple people have even attempted it

That didn't happen this season (unless you mean sw 10), Sarah Burke threw her first 1080 before she was even sponsered years ago, it was at some camp, Mike D saw it and got her signed to Salomon.

spinds to rails are fine as long as the actually grind the rail. i hate it when people spin onto the rail and just kiss it. if people people actually grind its crazy!

Also how the fuck are people saying this 990 is hucked or not steezy or just a bonk? unless you've seen it which noone here has you haven't got a clue what it looked like, you're just making assumptions. Sure i'm not gonna say it was steezey unless i see a long tweaked grab or whatever with it but likewise i'm not goona hate on it just because on paper its a big spin. And likening this or the 810 to sw 10s is absurd, this is pushing the envelope of what can be done on jupms and rails by fusing the two, sw 10s are standard for any pro nowadays

why are you trying to establish restrictions on things? just let it how it goes, its FREEskiing, itll progress itself.
