Cork 7 off cliff

Alright, so I have a big mountain comp on Saturday. I've never done a cork 7 off a cliff before but I can do it off park jumps and backcountry booters. I'm going up the friday before the comp and I want to pick a line for Saturday and maybe try a cork 7 off a cliff in my line. What do you guys think? How much harder is it than doing it off a jump?

i would say huck it. but for a big mountain comp tricks aren't required. their more style and fluidity. so if you can put it in their clean go for it! but if you can't just go for the huge air.

Hey man did you do it? I was up there on Saturday but missed some of the runs so I'm not sure if I saw you go.

Anyways cork's off cliffs are REALLY hard to learn. At least they were for me, because you don't realize how much you need the lip of the jump until you hit the flat takeoff on a cliff. For me the entire trick changed just for when I do it off cliffs.

So yeah, cork's are really hard off cliffs, if I were you I would practice them into pow before trying them in a contest with hard landings. They aren't anything like doing them off a park/bc jump whatsoever.

Let me know how it went if you tried it.

Is it true that you can huck crazy shit in the BC and worry substantially less about destroying yourself? Serious question, I've never ski'd on the west coast.

idk why but i read it as "Cork 7 off lift" not cliff..

I was hoping for a crazy video of someone doing a cork 7 off a lift...
