Cork 3s....

I find it really hard to actully come around with this trick.... i managed a few times to actully "cork" it out... its either, i go way to much offset and fall almost on my back or i simply dont cork at all ...

Help me here...

I come into the jump at a very decent speed (35 footer with a good kick), i always land in the middle of the landing. I come in carving to the left, dropping my left shoulder to "safety" my left ski and i spin left. My head tends to be looking at the tail of my skis when i "pop"....

Anything i am doing wrong expect of just not being able to point out the good amount of "tilt" i need! lol

carve less, loop more... ihave the same problem on occasion... you just cant dump your speed on the take off.

hey instead of grabbing left safety try right safety, take yoru left arm and try to push it out to side. you should try and make your left arm like a stripper pole and as you get past 90 your arm will start falling towards the ground, this helps create the cork and keeps you balanced and as you get better at it you'll need less and less stripper pole arm. the key really is carving though. good luck with it and let us know how its working for you.

Ok, i got it real good today!

What i did was go put my hand down on my ski a little behind the boot, that way i needed to drop my shoulder properly and i looked at my hand at first. I carved alot coming into the jump with a wide stance (for style, i hate having my skis sticked together), and just looked down behind me and stayed tucked until i came to the landing... i guess one important thing to understand, it's that you need to stay tucked to make it work...

Well, ill try to put down some footage of me soon

is it more of an off axis lincoln, or actually a proper cork, cause on my tramp i can't do them like a proper cork, only (i think) like an off axis linclon

the trampoline wont help you with a cork3. you need to get super comfortable doing 3s, i have to warm up to it everytime, everyday.

come in hot after your comfortable, and do a double mute 3(truck, this will make you use your upperbody to set the trick and follow through.)your definitely going upside down, so dont do anything but let the motion bring you back around. your gonna see the landing in a way you never have, dont panic, just bring yourself around and stomp.

after the first attempt do the samething without the grab, using your body to set your axis and land it.
