Cork 3 on tramp

I was having trouble doing cork 3's on my tramp and always ended up landing forward. but then someone told me that if I stomp a cork 3 on tramp than I'm doing it wrong.. is that correct, or was he being retarded?

its definitely a bit different on skis probably easier because of the way the jump sets you and how your moving forward, but it definitely take more balls on skis obviously, but your friend was being retarded.

the tricks a lot different for each. tramp you gotta set a mellow lincoln to get actually corked, try 5s and start bringing them to 3

cork 3s are 100% doable on tramp but they a 100% weird and look 100% less cool than cork 3s on skis. They're still one of the coolest tramp tricks out there though, people I've met at an open gym at a gymnastics place ask me how I bend the laws of physics to do it.

Keep florkin my dude

i watched a vid somewhere about how to do em. start by grabbing left hand safety (if you spin left) and do 180s to your stomach. get good at doing them bouncing really high, and then start pulling your hips around. thats how i learned. It's like riding a bike. if you get it once then you can do em anytime.

There's a few ways to do them. the last shot is a more ski style cork 3, but they're sloppy and hard to do.

the rest are basically chest down flatspins if that makes any sense.

I often end up doing true bio/flat 3's . What helped me was just trying to face the ground with my chest the whol time . And to grab wide safetys . Doable but auite hard to get the rotation right

It's honestly one of the weirdest tricks to do. The way I learned them was I started with flat threes and just started working on opening up my chest as I turned over my shoulder then. I just got flatter and flatter. Then to really learn them I pretended I was doing hand drags and just dropped my shoulder pretended Iwas dragging a hand and stomped it. After you get you use to doing them there not that bad. I'd work on doing really open and flatter flatspins.

He is retarted they took me a while to get the hang of but now i got them what i thing is just think like doing a hand drag but don't so i spin left so i drop my left arm/shoulder and grab my right foot and kinda just pull it around good luck.

Anyone have tips for dub 7? Not to steal the topic but I have my cork 3s down and it seems so difficult to throw dub 7

Start of by doing some 180's to your stomache and try to grab a trailing safety with an kinda wide stance as soon as possible.

Basically I think of the the same way as an cork 7 but trying to stop my leading soulder at kinda the half way I'd let it travel for a cork 7. This way you can get your grab sooner and therefore hold onto the axis.

Also... Cork 3's and Bio 3's are really really similar on tramp. To keep you from mixing up these two try to look at a spot in front of you and keep looking at it throughout the whole cork 3. If you are doing them right you will never lose sight of the spot you picked. This actually was the main key for me to get them locked.

And finally always try to put some pressure on your foot/hand grabing foot. Just try to extend your leg a bit and hold against the force with your hand. This will help to keep you in the rotation

I almost have them down now, they're just a little too close to flatspins

As i said try picking a point in front of you for example the covering of the springs and look at this one point the whole time, if you loose sight of it , you're doing a flatspin , if you can see it the whole way through you're doing a cork 3 or lincoln. Also by looking at spots at different heights you can also kinda influence how corked you get , just try it

i found the easiest way was to drop your shoulder when you're at 90 degrees, have a wide stance, and grab safety. Takes a few times to get it, but it is really fun when you get double bounced and just huck huge 3's!
