Holy shit, corked 10 in a mogul comp, that is absolutely ridiculous Dave Babbit did it, skiing is progressing so fast
 
I agree it is cool, but his interview was funny where he was talking about how he has basically invented the trick.

I know a guy hes like 17, whos like 10th in the nation, who does cork 7 and 10s in his runs.
 
they were funny clothes cause it accents the motion(style) like the knees being different colors shows how they keep their legs in control. or soemthing like that
 
The reason they have marks or colors on their knees is so the judges can see that their body is moving smoothly and as one. Sure, they could do it without it, there aren't any rules that say you have to have marks or colors, but if you don't have them, you get less points for turns and technique ect.
 
Haha yes...the suits definately look silly. And I was also confused when he said he invented a new trick.
 
that is huge. I want to see that double back and 10, damn thats impressive, but I am rooting for Toby Dawson if he qualifies, he can go quite large.
 
JM is a douchebag. the only reason he's famous is because of the "dinner roll". also known as a d-spin 7, which a lot of people on this site can do
 
Ya, but he is the one who went and fought with the FIS for a long time and is the sole reason it was ever allowed. So I think you should check your facts before you go running your mouth.
 
Anything to do with ppl going switch in moguls would be sick, but yet, so impossible!
 
what im saying is that cork 10 might have been kool but it looked ugly as fuck.it was penciled hucked and not that big...Hall, Douglas, Abma, Dorion, Thovex they have style but these new people have shitty style
 
Yeah, or even forward mounted, u could just mount some moguls skis backwards and u might be able to, very slowly.
 
jay kirigin has been doing cork 10's in the moguls for three years. the only reason david babic is doing them is because he saw jay doing them.
 
youre a fucking idiot. first off the dinner roll was a cork 7. if it was a dspin he would have disqualified, because if you remember inverts werent allowed in moguls. johnny was pushing what they allowed. he is the reason why all this shit is happening.
 
he didnt say he invented it ya gaper, he has been working on it for four years to throw in the moguls, after all, im sure you have seen 10s ll the time in the moguls over the past 4 years
 
Also it's so easy to make fun of Mosely and his dinner roll, but the fact of the matter is he's not only doing the trick he's doing it perfectly and landing in a mogul course. Think about the extra amount of difficulty in that. One little fuck up and he's out of his line. In the park we can make a little slip up and catch ourselves, but you can't do that in the moguls, everything must be perfect.

ahhh i believe you are all talkning about the Steamboat olympic trial mogul thing... yep i was there, and it was sick! The atmosphere up here has been so great latley, and the park is pretty fun also!
 
Yeah, Jay is fucking sick. I know he's been throwing 10's for a long time, but I didn't think he'd done them in comps until this year. His cork 10's actually look damn good, too.
