One (or possibly more) of our L9 employees was anxiously awaiting the
arrival of these exact skis..and when they came, boy it was like
Christmas. Any questions? Just ask them here..

How are they on a groomed run?

Austin asked on 2/9/11
Answer Austin
I haven't personally had experience on these since we just got
them in, but I'll be taking a pair out soon and posting a review. They
are meant to do well on the whole mountain as well as the park. Parks
are all groomed so this ski would be at home on a groomer.

I want a ski that will perform on the hardpack as well as moguls
and powder. I am an eastern skier who likes to go out west
occasionally. What do you think?

This is a very versatile ski that should be everything you need.
You might have a little problem out west if you run into some super
deep snow but you'll still have fun.

I am wondering about the flex and flex pattern? i love skis i can butter on, and how this one compares to candides and Colbys?

Max asked on 4/7/11
Answer Max
this ski is slightly softer than the Candide so it will be easier
to butter. it isn't the softest but it is definitely Super poppy.

How bout the flex compared some Surface No times? Or a LINE park
ski? I'm looking for something super retrogressive and easy to butter.

Answer Max
These are quite a bit stiffer than both the Line Afterbang and
any of surfaces park skis. They are going to be a more solid platform
for stomping landings. The line and surface skis are going to be much
harder to control at higher speeds because they are such noodles. If you
are looking for a butter ski, this will still butter! It will be
tougher to get into the butter but once you pop into your spin, it will
explode into it.

Im looking for a ski that i will ride all over the mountain but i
like riding park, rails, boxes etc but is soft enough for jibs and just
playing around. how will these compare?

Lyndon Lee asked on 6/22/11
Answer Lyndon Lee
This is a great all-Mountain ski. It is not the stiffest ski on
the market but by no means is it soft. I think it has the perfect
mixture for a great park ski. It is very poppy so you can explode out of
butters but still solid enough that you can stomp landings without
worry of washing out. I ski something similar to this as my all-mountain
ski and I love it. I personally don't think that a soft ski makes a jib
ski, Soft skis make for a noodle of a ski that is not durable all over
the mountain.

If you were to compare this to a LINE ski, what would you compare it to?

Nick S asked on 7/7/11
Answer Nick S
I would compare it to the Line Afterbang in shape.. It is just a much stiffer ski than that of the Afterbang.

Is this ski cambered or does it have rocker?
Was this helpful?
Peter S asked on 7/22/11
Answer Peter S
This ski is full camber. It does not contain any rocker. It does
however have some of the most aggressive camber that I have ever seen in
a ski. This is great for Pop and stability during landings.
