Coreupt skis?

most of their pro team went to other companies. so based on that i'd say they're not super. check out gear talk

mine were the most durable skis i ever had. had the TJ pros in 182 and they lasted 1 season including summer on glacier, with a lot of rails and also some urban, and they are yet to have an edge crack. in the end i really tried to destroy these skis tapping everything, landing on rocks, bonking etc but so far its been impossiblefor me to break em. skiing wise they were the best carving ski (twin) i ever owned. very responsive snappy and quick edge to edge. im skiing punx now, and they have 8 edge cracks from 1 weekend. i got rid of my TJs since i wanted something lighter and softer. love my punx but their durability is far lower than that of the TJs

ding ding. yea had my punx at home and took the TJs to shred the glacier to save the edges on my punx. really this ski is a beast.

ive not used them personally but a couple of my mates got the candide pows and they say they are amazing to acctually ski on but the construction and durability on them is utter dog shit. but thats just a couple of guys opinions who both bought them at similar times so could just be a faulty batch.

I got Richard Permins (Born to Drop) pro model (for 99€, 130$) brand spanking new. Really cool ski as far as I can tell. Haven't skied them yet, but they look like they're amazing.

Have heard a lot of things about their bomb-proofness, but also some bad stories about their durability, although I think all the bad stories are from the earlier users. Looks to me like last years were super durable!

Fuck coreupt.... Most whack company ever. There's a reason they came out of nowhere and that all their riders are leaving now. Huge outside investors looking to cash in on a rising ski industry, at least thats how I see it. Don't support coreupt.

Because Permin had the money to float a massive pro team, put a huge line of pro models into production and start a clothing line..... Seems logical.

Where do you think this money comes from? Its not skiers. There are always 3rd party investors. You know why Julien got dropped from Armada? Not because Tanner and JP decided he didn't deserve his spot on the team any more.

Some companies start out small and make it big (line being the most recent example), but you can't just come out of nowhere like coreupt and armada without some serious cash behind you.

No comment on the skis as I've not skied on them, but I believe the company has large investment from Danone (yoghurt / dairy produce company); but is at least part owned by Guerlain Chiherit

Why does Line put "LINE" on their bases?
coreupt is a web-based ski company, so it's quite normal for them to put their website in which is their name + .COM ....
(i know, i'm cpt obvious)
but anyways, anyone got something to tell me about the TJ pros, colby pros or candide yards ?
i can get those for 99euro and can't decide which one i'm gonna get.....)
ill be using it for indoor park and for teaching, so it should be stiff enough to carve/charge ....

hehe, i think i can justify it, on my park skis both edges are about half a cm separated from the sidewall and there are woodsplinters peeking out
so it might just be time to retire my babies :)
and 99euro is a bargain, even for a crappy ski

its not crappy. i wrote a review and made a thread. its a solid ski, nice and stiff, with good pop, which is good for carving due to the big camber under foot. really really durable. you will not regret buying it for 99 bucks and it will last, at least it did for me. only downside is that it may be a bit stiff for some peoples liking and its by no means heavy but there are skis with a lower swing weight.

I love my tjs best park ski i have ever owned, super durable, loads of pop...I wrote a review too here is the link https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/content/reviews/action/read/id/1519/

Read the whole thing, I tried to adress most of what people have been saying:

I know that that one guy with the rhino icon hates coreupt because he got the ones that were just re branded dynastars.

Anyway, I love my coreupts. They are equally fun as any other park ski I have had/ used. (k2 public enemies, volkl walls, armada alpha 1s, moment reno's, dynastar nothing but trouble, Nordica ignitions)

My colby west pro's are very stiff and very poppy. They have huge amounts of camber and are very fun. As today was my last (winter) day skiing, I can say that these have held up very nicely.

Also, adressing pro's leaving. I asked gus kenworthy why he left over NS...he said he left because they didnt treat him very well as a rider. In my opinion, thats a pretty solid reason to leave....but it WAS NOT about the skis.

CoreUPT is a awesome brand for the money..you are going to like your skis as long as you dont get the re branded dynastars.

Before you listen to anyone elses thoughts on them, find out if they have even owend them before..and if they have, which year.

Hope that helped.
