Hey Guys,i cant decide between next years coreupt candide yard 155 or the icelantic pilgrims 150.
im 86 pounds, 4,11.
ill be skiing in jackson hole, about 50 % park, 50 % all mountain.
please help me out.
thankd

Icelantic is sick. Def thry them out. Coreupt is basically Rossignol so give Icelantic a shot. Especially if you will be at Jakson.

all coreupt skis are currently coming out of the same molds/shapes dynastar uses for their skis. they plan on adding new ones next year i believe.

one thing that i havent figured out yet is, are icelantic or corupt skis buttery?
scott, that pretty much makes them ddynastar skis with different cores etc and topsheets

they both make good skis. personally i would rather support icelandic. not sure if they are buttery.....i am sure they have skis that are soft though.

and i don't know the details of the coreupt's construction, so I cannot say how different they are.

I just know that for their first year of production, so that they can get established, they are using the same shapes and molds. I personally think that is dumb, but I am sure next season they will release some cool new shapes.

ya i think ill stick with da pilgrims in 151.
ill give coreupt a year to get there stuff together,]
thansk scott

sorry for the tri-post, but which icelantics do u think would be better for 45 %park 55%all mountain.
the pilgrim:Tip: 127mm Waist: 90mm Tail: 115mm 151 cm
the nomad: Tip: 140mm Waist: 105mm Tail: 130mm 156cm
i weigh 86 pounds and im 4'11

I tried the Pilgrims for a couple days and they were sick. I rode them in two feet fresh pow and they did awesome but Im not much of a park guy. If are all park then wait for their new 08/09 line they are coming out with an all park ski. Its the one on the fair right. And I have been in there shop in Denver

and it had SOOO much flex. But If you want all mountain or 45%- 55% stick with the

pilgrim. The Nomad sounds to wide for you. I want a pair of the pilgrams but they are not cheap. This is a pic of the new graphics

Yea a descent amount but Icelantic aims for surface area (quoting the guy at their shop) by making skis wider and shorter and this reduces the flex because they are so wide. But they are definitely sick skis and did a fiar job on the flex. I rode Salomon for a year before I demoed the pilgrams and noticed an instant change when i snapped in and freaken loved them.

I would def go with Icelantic. The skis are bombproof. I've ridden next years Da'Nollie which is the "park" skis. I use quotes because the skis rip everywhere. They are about 90mm underfoot which is somewhat skinny but are dope for park. They are pretty soft but super fun to play on. The pilgrim is about the same underfoot but not symmetrical and a bit stiffer. Both skis rip everywhere.

so is candide still on rossignol?

because on the coreupt website he is wearing quicksilver coat which is a rossi company.

idk? thanx for help
