CORE Tour...

ok, i heard that the CORE tour might not happen because the people that run it dont have insurance... at all, which if true, makes the people who run it the biggest retards ever. So the resorts wont let them hold the event there. I tried to call the CORE people but nobody answered. Any help on if it is going to happen or not would be great because practice starts Friday at Breck...THANKS!

bump.... It isnt just insurance- if that has to do with anything. But there is a Roxy snowboard girls camp in the park and pipe so that would conflict.

hah. IF thats true, that is really stupid. i had to get insurance for a rail jam i held on my campus, in which 20 people max. participated.

I may try and enter this if it is going on. Any news on it? Is it in the Gold King park or the Freeway park?

 
Really big! There are 3 tables on each side and some are 50-60 feet! There are a bunch of rails too and a half pipe.

 
once again petertosh is wrong. the breck event got cancelled. Roxy is holding some sort of camp, but seriously what use are snowboarding girls going to have for brecs main park? I guess maybee the flat box.

Yesterday the people running the event said it was cancelled because of no insurance, and they were refunding people's entry fees.

that is truly ridiculous. refer to my post up top, and when you think that a major tour of events, in the USA nonetheless, is not covered by insurance...that makes me shake my head in disbelief.

i have heard rumos of three jumps and a hip for the course. anyone ski there that really knows the course. what are jumps gonna be and rails?

just to make sure everyone is clear on this....the event is a go. Insurance has been taken care of...Tanner will not be there but from what I hear the competition---team DNA will be.

THose who are of legal age be sure to come the FS party @ Sherpa & Yeti's.
