Core shot help

Yo what up i am wondering about filling this core shot I have. It’s not that deep but hypothetically if I did a base weld the put ptex over it but it didn’t like “filll it up” should I let the ptex cool for a hour then put another layer on or what should I do? I watched dominator J’s video on this but still not sure.

You need something other than ptex material to fix this or else it will just fall out. You need metal grip.

So fill the whole thing with metal grip or do the metal grip then ptex over?

Idk I asked myself that too

bought the skis (didn’t know they had a core shot) thought they were in good condition and now here I am trying to fix them so I can ski on them. ( if anyone has a in good condition functioning 177 Vishnu wet lmk lmao for free)

Did you buy them on here? Pretty scummy for someone to sell you those without mentioning the massive core shot

Yeah I did... I’d say it was both of our fault because I didn’t really ask for pics of the gash he just mentioned a “small gash on one ski” (didn’t think much of it because he said small) and that other then that they were in good condition
