Core Freeski Event is Still going on this weekend

Contrary to resident NS geek Phrosty, the Core Event is still going on this weekend. I just spoke with Dave McKay at Octagon Sports and he said that even though the biggest sponsor dropped out, the event is still going on. What can you learn from this? Phrosty is still an idiot that acts like he knows his shit even when he is clearly wrong.

Josh is a persin in the know, he gets his info first hand. If he says no-go, that is probably true. However if the event coordinators were able to reach an agreement with the other sponsors and still have the finances necessary to hold the event, it should go off without a hitch.

We'll just have to see

...he died doing what he loved. He will always be rememberd as a great snowboarder, but more importantly as a great friend.

In loving memory of Josh Malay.

RED TEAM!

The event is def. a go for sure. Jeep the main sponsor dropped out but the promoter picked up the pieces and the event(s) will go on as planned.

See ya'll at Breck and those of you of age, be sure to hit up Sherpa and Yeti's for the party.

Yesterday, and I stress YESTERDAY, my team rider Jon Hartman called them and was told it was cancelled, and he was refunded his entry fee. That was when I put it was cancelled. In no way do I claim to know everything about it. I was just passing on information I had recieved. Things change.
