We didn't make the cemetary one, that was someone mocking us, which I agree was disrespectful.
But how exactly is putting a logo over the first image in any way disrespectful to those soldiers? You are saying it is disrespectful to use that image when really it could much the opposite.
 
I just don't think its a good image to use for publicity. It was a selfless thing those guys did, and using it as part of a logo or ad seems to take advantage of that.

Not hating on your company or anything, I just think the logo could be better and more original.

Fine, the image might be slightly disrespectful but c'mon man, seriously? why do you have to turn into super douche all of a sudden over something that isn't exactly mocking anybody. Did he make fun of their sacrifice? No. Is he going to make a lot of money from it in the long run? Probably not, considering the number of underground clothing companies that make next to no profit (obviously there are exceptions, The Hundreds, Diamond Supply Co. Etc.)

I'm not so sure their logo is disrespectful, I just think it looks absolutely terrible. Not a good way to represent a company in my opinion.

Only omaha had a bluff like that. The soldiers are wearing the standard issue GI uniform, particularly the helmets, and American-made weapons. And they are in a higgins boat, landing craft, which wasn't as widely used by canadians/french/brits. But the americans pretty much used them exclusively.

Just out of curiosity, how you did you land across this image to use as part of the company logo? Just doesn't seem like one that pop into too many people's minds when it comes to a logo.
