Cops invading privacy?

considering it says in his profile that he lives in ma..

half and ounce of weed isn't a criminal offense, so there's no reason the cop should be able to read shit.

i hate it when cops take advantage of their power.
 
although i agree with you 100%, you can drink on base if you are 18.

but anyways i would much rather smash my phone than have some cop go through it if there was any evidence i did something wrong on it. but they need a warrant so i'd let them go through it when i told them they can't and let them read it all and watch it get tossed out in court.

i've had a few run ins with some dick head cops, the worst was with speeding. getting fucking screamed at like i had just committed murder or something. wrote the tickets up so i'd get fucked for sure like loose debris on road, cold temps possible ice and stuff. but my dad knew the judge and instead of 14 points i got 4 and walked outta there with a smile on my face and the cop was beyond pissed. but that was lucky shit.

or when i yelled out the window fuck you to some guy who called the cops on us earlier for trespassing (driving on a road by his house). cops came and tried telling us we would get charged with slander, trespassing and a bunch of other bullshit if we didn't confess to all of it. i simply said, actually sir he yelled fuck you to me...and i have 3 witnesses that were in the vehicle that heard it. so who are you going to believe? and he just straight left and told us we were lucky and next time he'll get us.

then i've met some cool cops, although i haven't had any run ins with them i know that they are pretty sweet and my friends have gotten off the hook thanks to them.

all in all i still live by saying fuck the police...it might not be all of them but most.
 
well its true that he should get more of a fine..

but it doesnt give the cop the right to read through the kid's texts. thats literally just an abuse of power..

why are you so for this cop? i dont understand..
 
I like the idea of cops, but considering a lot of people are ass holes, they change the image of the occupation.
 
yeah, is he saying that you can drink under 21 on a military base? if so, that's some hypocritical bullshit right there.
 
ehhh not really.. if they want to go oversees and serve for their country then they should be able to have a beer.. come on man

that being said i've had my fair share of encounters with them on and off the roads

seems to me if you cooperate and show some respect they do the same to you
 
I agree, to quote someone who was once married to a denver cop (so she also knew a lot of his cop friends) "They're all just a bunch of thugs" so many cops only do it because it is a job with great job security, rarely anyone gets into the cops (unless they're in some sort of special forces) who want to protect the innocent and that crap

cop knows he's running a risk when he does it, so let him get fucked if he gets caught

If you refuse to answer a question like giving personal information you can have more charges, and if you answer a question that you dont need to you could be fucking yourself, The best thing to do is ask the officer, if he tells you your legally obligated to do something your not, that information will be at least be inadmissible from court. You may also be let off the charges if the thing you were told to do was severe enough.
 
the amount of misinformation thats spread in these types of threads is just insane.

i'll spare you all a long winded essay, and just say that it's an awful lot of fun to hate on cops, until you actually need one. At which point you'll realize that the same cop you were giving shit to and fucking with trying to look like a badass, is now helping you.

oh, and a piece of advice-

never ask a cop if they have anything better to do. It's a sure fire way to get yourself in more trouble,
