Cops Go Postal On 70-Year-Old's Car

You can't tell if its sarcasm or not in writing unless you make a smiley or something

GO FOK A GOAT YOU SILLY SILLY AMERICAN! ^_^

Haha I've done this before. An officer decided to give me a warning for speeding as long as I gave him my parent's phone numbers, so I did, and for some reason I thought we were done, and i drove away. When I got to school, which I was late for, I realized I never got my driver's liscence or insurance card back. No one came and bashed my window in though, the cop just brought my license to the school, and I still didn't get a ticket, even though I was going 25 over.

Wow that's fucked up. My question is did the cops have the camera on when they pulled him over originally or did they just turn it on when they were "chasing" him?
Seriously though I don't think I've ever had a positive experience with police. When somebody sees a cop do you ever think Thank God its the cops. No you think fuck fuck what am I doing wrong, what do I have to hide, what should I say to him, etc.

That sucks they handled an elderly person like that. It's unfortunate he didn't hear the siren or see the police car, that works against him.

But why on earth would you bash in the driver window of an old person? Glass shattering everywhere? And then drag him across the road? You can see his feet don't move that fast. That poor old man, imagine it was your grandfather =(

what I dont understand is why there driving on the wrong side of the road and their sirens dont sound like those cool foreign ones

Wow, that's pretty ridiculous.
And obviously there's some cool cops and some shitty cops, just like any other group of people. Unfortunately, my experiences with the police here in SLC have been mostly negative so far. Two of my buddies were walking their skateboards up the parking lot at the U football stadium, and not only did cops stop them, sit them down, and waste a bunch of their time just to give them a warning they also for some reason felt the need to call in two more cop cars. That was shitty and unnecessary. On a different occasion when we had a party at our house, with the size of the party, I wasn't at all surprised the cops showed up, but instead of just telling everyone to leave, they started handing out citations. One cop I talked to was a decent dude and fairly polite and respectful, but another was just an asshole, talking about how he'd love to haul me off to jail after I told him he couldn't go in the house. You don't get to do whatever you want just because you have a badge, dickwad.
