Copper Woodward Barn

Dude, it's only $70 the first time....then with a punch card it's like $20.

You really think they can pay all those people to work there, pay insurance, rent, salaries on the prices you want to pay?

HAHAHAHA!!!! Get real, you're an idiot.

And keep your broke ass friends off the top of the ramp, it's too crowded as it is now.

WAC-I suggest you guys make that window open at the top of the ramp, get's way too hot

Also wish you guys would offer drop in night sessions during the week....perhaps tues-thurs at 6pm?

Season passes are definitely the way to go WAC, then you get the dirtbag brokeasses in too. ;)

Now now children, let's play nice.

Powair - I totally understand. I don't however agree that there is any facility anything like ours. There are definitely more inexpensive options, but products of equal or better quality...definitely not. Like I said, hold tight, we will have an unlimited pass next winter and we'll run locals discounts on that and as well on the OHW.

OG - I'll discuss some late night sessions during the weekday over the summer. It would like have to be after 8:00pm though since the weeklong summer campers have exclusive access to the barn all afternoon/evening as well. If there is enough demand for the 8:00pm session we can probably make that happen.

Lastly, just wanted to give everyone a heads up to keep your eyes peeled for a Level 1 Woodward edit coming in the next couple of weeks. Level 1 is out here shooting for next years film and we've been sessioning in the Barn at night. The jump they have built for those guys is INSANE! Two massive take-offs with a 100ft table. Should be pretty sick.

BTW, Sagstraps. Your "team rider" Tom Wallish couldn't have loved Woodward any more. He was like a kid in a candy store. So maybe there's something about the facility that you just aren't giving a chance. Wallish is a nut job btw. Has pretty much every double both ways back on to the tramp and threw a few pretty steezy triples into the pit. But I don't want to spoil everything for you guys. We have another mad sesh tonight for those guys...more to come.

Woodward at Copper is sponsoring the "Huck Rock n Roll" slopestyle contest tomorrow at A-basin. Winners in each category will get a free One Hit Wonder session along with skate decks/beanies/schwag etc...

Powair/Pwnd - Now is your chance, come on over to Abay and win yourself a free OHW.

First of all, he actually does have a pair of Sag Straps and let me put him up on my site. Whether he wears them or not, debatable. And what's your point? I was simply commenting on how you have no pro coaches, not on how its not fun. Whether he likes the place or not doesn't really matter to me, I was just saying where are your pro coaches?

BTW, I was just giving constructive criticism, not insulting you, and then you go ahead and call me out. Whatever, dude.

Hmm yes and no. Every single post that you've put up in the thread is something negative. Whether you think each one of your posts is "constructive" individually, the theme as a whole is just putting an unneccesary negative vibe on the thread and on Woodward.

I wasn't calling you out on him being on you're team, truthfully I don't know anything about it either way. I was calling you out that someone you clearly respect really likes the place, and it seems like you don't at all so I just mentioned that maybe you hadn't given it a proper chance.

Will have our pro-coach summer list be the end of next week. Too late for some but maybe not for many.

BTW, a lot of your ideas so far have been implemented. Like I mentioned earlier, you can session the skate drop-in to the foam pit for the skate drop-in fee. The new punch cards are cheaper and next winter will definitely have a season pass. Really the only thing that we can't impliment from your ideas is to have your non-paying friends hanging out on the 15ftx8ft drop-in ramp. It's just too crowded up there for that. Maybe the season pass will entice them to pay next year and session it with you.

Moreover, I suggest we bury the hatchet and move on from this. If you really aren't interested in posting anything positive in this thread I suggest you don't respond to it anymore. But if you have something important to say, let's hear it. But how about we put you on a negative/positive ratio limit. How about 1 negative commment per positive one? I think we all know there are plenty of positives to Woodward that you are ommiting. You clearly love skiing and are pretty positive about that, I can't understand why you have so much hate for Woodward.

what? i love copper, the whole mountain is sick and the park is nice
maybe thats just because i'm from wisconsin, but have you ever been through lovelands park?? holy shit what went wrong there
but i have been to mammoth and breck, and there parks are better, but i never thought coppers was bad...
also i think the combo of foam pit jumps and a descent snow park would be really fun, and as good as windells depending on the park

yes wtf is with all the hate on copper? i have had awesome days there. and their jump line was really fun this year.
all the best to woodward and the people running it.

Aw, I'm sorry for being so negative lol. Anyway, Woodward is tons of fun and if it came out like I don't like iit overall, then oops. The tramps are super amazing, the jump is fun for dialing in smaller flips and rotations, and having a skate setup is sick. I think its great to have a cool ski facility at my home mountain, and I love it. That being said, I'm just giving my opinion on some of the downsides, which there are, like that the jump is a little bit too small for bigger spin. (I get it that its a small facility for so many cool things, but you always could add a drop ramp or something up top a little bit more speed.) I've been many times to Woodward this year (I bought two punch cards), and I've been to Windells twice, so I feel like I'm in a pretty good situation to evaluate it. That being said, I'm just giving my opinion, take it or leave it, and if at least someone hears it, it can make the place even cooler. (BTW, props on letting skate seshers hit the skate drop.) I'm opinionated, and you can call me out for it, but I can post whatever I want to say haha (most times).

And I don't hate it at all btw, I'll definitely be both coming over the summer and next season, so yes I may be a little critical, but I still love it. What's the deal for the summer anyway? Do you have to do a camp week to hit the on-hill park?

Hey just a suggestion, it would be cool if u guys could put like handles on the drop in so you could through your self in for more speed, that would be awesome! becuase right now it fills like you can only use like 10 feet of the pit, but overall Woodward is awesome!

They were talking about doing that the last time I was in, would be a pretty sick idea. But if you ask them to formulate the drop in right before you go, and literally tell them to use 75% to all of the back in thing, and have friends help pull you in, you can go a TON bigger. Doubleable if you huck it.
