Hey,

Those who ski Copper a lot...

I am going to be heading there for a week on march 24th for spring break. How are conditions? How's the skiing? What are the best spots on the mountain to hit?
 
spaulding bowl has been killing it i was there for the season. left 4 weeks back so i dunno how good it will be then but we were getting face shots every couple of days. mein vien superpipe is huge and heaps of fun and the rail garden off flyer is also sweet have a sick time.
 
the best spots to ski are the mountain cheif,sierra and high point lifts, unless you like hiking and crowds dont ski the mein vein pipe, and spaulding sucks because its a bitch to get back to the storm king,
 
We just got snow last night and a storm brewing over my head right now... I think they reported 6-7" and with more on the way you should have a very nice spring break.
 
the reason spaulding is good is cause it is such a bitch 2 storm king no body goes so you have the whole of the bowl to your self half the time i skied it at 1pm and i was still hitting freshies. but hey if you dont wanna push for your turns then hey more pow for me.
 
yo here's where its at. pow, spaulding or like outer union bowl (southern star) off mountain chief and around the back. The park is goin off right now, meinvein pipe is wicked smooth and hit the park after lunch. the jumps get super smooth and soft and the quarter down after the big lne is bitchin by like 2. oh, and drop the cornice thats straight back from excelerator in spaulding. Watch for the lone rock but its a sick 20ftt to fresh.
