East TN East Coast rider planning a trip to Copper. I've never been to Copper, and I want to hit the park some as well as some great powder runs. How is the cat skiing in the area? I've ridden Aspen/Snowmass and PCMR numerous times, and age is getting the best of me. I can no longer really throw down in the park. What are the best powder runs at Copper?

No lift lines, great back bowls, it's not vail resorts so the employees are super chill and don't care too much what you do, nobody in the park because all the locals have vail passes.

All valid points except the back bowls aren't that special. May I recommend getting out of Summit County entirely and either going back to Aspen/Snowmass, or going to Crested Butte, or Telluride?

Copper can be wicked fun on good days. The cat running up to Tucker mountain is pretty cool. The Enchanted Forest area (upper and lower) is fun and since there's trees in the lower part it holds on to snow really well. I'm a New England transplant so, I'm less of a purist than Mr. Green here.
