I don't know how much help my opinion is... so take it for what it's worth.
For the past two years I've had a Colorado pass and to be honest, it's been incredibly average, even a bit disappointing. Freshmen year my family came to visit me in CO and we spent a weekend at Copper. The three days I skied there were more fun and more enjoyable than any of the times I've had at the Vail Resorts (besides powder days at Vail of course). To me, Copper had a much more local and friendly vibe to it. Lift lines weren't as bad, and you could find some great woods and steeps and cliffs if you knew what you were doing. People say the park isn't as good as Breck or Key but honestly I'd rather have a good park with friendly people than a great park that gets clogged and has an attitude (especially if you aren't an amazing park skier). I also really like the layout of Copper because if you want to be shredding gnarly terrain you'll pretty much be isolated from the bunny slopes and beginner areas.
So yeah, hope you enjoy your time, I know I'm excited for my first full season with the Super Pass. And also, I have a black Bern helmet with a big red NS sticker, a Level 1 sitcker, and Ski The East sticker, so hit me up if you see me.!
