Copper halfpipe post-season?

what peak has the pipe close to the parking lot? Is that 8 or 9, I can't keep their peaks in order in my brain. would it be busy on sunday, I like the idea of copper because there is less of a chance of having lots of people.

you can hike up to the peak 8 (freeway) pipe pretty easily but be weary - maybe just a rumor but a friend of a friend told me that they got busted a few days ago...

I went to Copper's pipe yesterday, April 30th? and it had been cut the previous friday, some locals told me, and they are cutting both pipes and parts of the park for photo/video shoots. It was in good shape.

If the guys that were up with their father on sunday are on NS, tell him thank you for the wax.

i'm going up tomorrow,5/13/06, about 11 or so to copper to hike the pipe, i would enjoy some company if anyone wants to session the pipe.
