Cop kills 15 year old, charges friend with the murder

What an absurd law. His accomplice had absolutely no involvement nor did he intend to kill his partner. The max he should be getting is the armed robbery charges. Fucking ridiculous justice system, so frustrating.
 
I can't say that kid didn't deserve to be shot for turning on a police officer with a loaded gun... But charging the other person with the murder? That makes no fucking sense at all. There's no logic.

Never pointed the gun at her. If your walking down the street and someone tells you to stop, you're going to turn around. It seems as if the cop didnt know how to handle the situation and got nervous. That kind of shit happens in the hood multiple times a day..pretty routine crime in any rough part of town. That wouldnt count as self defense for any citizen. I dont see why it is for her.
 
Ok so let me get this straight, one kid pulled a gun on a cop so the cop shot him while his friend was just standing there. Then the cop charged the kid who was just standing there with murder. Thats fucked up.

that's really fucked up, sure a bat is lethal at close range but from a running distance not at all. could they have not just maced/tasered the kid instead?

I know its a law there bud, I was just stating it was absurd. Don't get your knickers in a knot. And I fully realize that someone is innocent until "SENTENCED" with something but I was simply stating that he shouldn't be charged for that in the first place.
 
Anyone defending the violent criminal is probably doing so because he was a minor and the story doesn't say he actually started to point his gun at the cop. Nonetheless, the bigger issue is whether the kid who wasn't armed and didn't display any violence should be charged as an adult with murder.
 
you can be charged 30,000 dollars for littering in maryland...

most laws are written with extreme max. penalties. you're getting pissed off over nothing.
 
you may not be aware, but robbery is violent crime, which they both committed. its right on up there with rape/murder. the kid who's getting screwed by the additional charges is in fact a violent criminal according to this story. so why get so worked up about a law that only affects seriously terrible people
 
Maybe if the kid getting charged was at home playing xbox or reviewing some math instead of taking part in armed robbery he would'nt be in this situation.

FIrst of all, this is why guns for any other use than hunting should be out-fucking-lawed. The kid is holding a gun, and does nothing but turns his shoulders, and the cop is instantly afraid for their fucking life. A kid turns around and faces a cop when neither of them has a gun, and the kid cant do anything from long range, and the cop can taze the shit out of him. Instead, she is afraid for her life because the kid has a gun in his hand, whether or not it was pointing anywhere near her, and she shoots and kills him.

Rant part 2:

COPS SHOULD KNOW HOW TO NOT SHOOT A KID IN THE FUCKING CHEST. First of all, no shots should have been fired from the police. The kid, from what the story says, did not raise the gun, or make any motion to threaten or harm the officer. And if he did, shoot the kid in the fucking thigh, or kneecap or some non-fatal shit. Not the fucking head or chest. Cops have to learn to aim a weapon better than any of us know how to; there is no reason that they should kill a 15 year old, when they know that they are shot to stop the offender, and save their self, not to kill.

Rant part 3:

How the fuck is this murder on his friends part? That is a fucked up fucking law, made to fuck over fucking kids who fucked up a little bit, and ended up in the death of their fucking friend, and will now get fucked over by a judge and jury of fucked up fuck fucks who fucking think that it was the friends fucking fault. The cop shot the gun, the kid held a different gun, and as far as a murder goes, the kid was an innocent bystander.

I am not usually the type to say "fuck the police", but this is a perfect example of absolute overpower in the police force, and corruption. A cop could kill whoever the fucking want, and as long as there is somebody else around that was involved in the crime, the cop will never face any punishment, and some kid who would never do anything to harm his poor friend will go to fucking jail for supposedly killing him. FUCK THAT SHIT.

tl;dr: 1) Guns need to go, 2) shoot him in the fucking leg, and 3) fuck that law.
 
Honestly wasn't there. But depending on circumstances you have to shoot sometimes. Not saying there it might not have been avoidable. I mean cops are super trigger happy with tazers, guns, and anything exciting, but still sometimes you need to shoot.

As far as the murder charge, that's fucking retarded. You ever made that law should be kicked in the balls(or snatch)
