In your mind, what is the most badass thing you have ever done???

for me, it would have to be playing poker with the boston red sox and bill belichick, even though he's fucking retarded... haha

most badass? or coolest? very different.

i think the coolest thing i've ever done is scuba diving in the phillipines. we stayed on this random resort island in the middle of nowhere that you had to take a boat to get to.

also, jay buhner has been to my house a couple of times

for starters, we chopped off the top of the car, gutted it of everything except for the front seats and the mechanisms necessary to drive it.

then we filled the cracks with Great Stuff, drilled some 2x4's onto the frame, roped some empty barrels on it, and got ready for the moment of truth

we hit the water at about 30 mph (not sure if the embed will work, i can't see movies on this computer)

it looked pretty formidable as it charged towards the water

unfortunately, the barrels flipped over the top of their supports after touchdown, putting the chopped top of the car dangerously close to the water line.

we rushed to the front to try and reposition the barrels

but the front was already going under. even jumping off (ever so gracefully) to try and position the barrels from the front didn't work.

after reboarding the crippled vessel, we decided to go down with the ship, but because of the barrels, this was as far as it sunk. the boatcar just hung in limbo suspended between great success and a watery grave.

first mate bj oversaw the dragging out of the boatcar

after the boatcar was clear of the water, we assesed the damage

(there is not a lot going on where i grew up, which might explain the entire project in the first place...)

smoked 2 doobies in my town hall on a friday (i volunteer there) when there was no one there, and i did it in the room there are meetings and conferences, the place looks like a courtroom.... no jokes
