I actually think it's a fake picture... But I would imagine that a real one would run about 70k... depending on who made it, and how they made it.

Also, it doesn't seem like there is a way to steer the thing.

its real i saw it in a magazine a bit ago. it has a tank tread on it so it can grip just about anything. These german guys won an award for it, its just prototype tho.

That would be a lot of fun, but it would have to be sooooo lightweight if you wanted to be able to take that thing off packed surfaces.

It doesn't exactly exist... It exists in the design/drawing/photoshop/cad phase. They were looking for potential builders, and last time I saw an update on it Bombadier(sp?) was expressing interest.

Its weird how you steer, I can't imagine the thing being all that stable if you took air with it. You have to pivot your hips to steer and kinda muscle the thing around with your legs. I'd love one if I lived in an area with alot of snow.

if you guys actually read the article under it, it said that they only have a prototype that is 1/5 the size. The article and picture were featured in transworld snowboarding

there is similar things tho ^ my dad builds parts for the snowbikes there like dirt bikes with a track and a ski there so sick

"You may not have room in your garage (or budget) for a dirt bike and a snowmobile and a four-wheeler. But what if one vehicle could take the place of all three? That’s the idea behind the Hyanide, a wild concept vehicle created by German designers Oliver Keller and Tillman Schlootz for the 2006 Michelin Challenge Design. "

I couldn't find more pics of the one above, but I did find some other similar concepts.
