i do not agree with you^. any ski can be ridden everywhere. granted, it may not perform the best in every environment, but it can be done. boots are not the same. comfort=good blood flow, and that helps everything. secondly, they are the way that your body transfers energy to your skis. you want that to be as efficient as possible.
thirdly, riding is supposed to be fun. how much fun is it when you have to go inside and take your boots off after every run, and can barely walk at the end of the day?
