Cool things to do with a crushed back

Ive had a crushed disk since may long weekend of this year and am slowly getting bored a depressed because I can't do much other than lay in bed or sit down. I need some stuff to do that doesn't require standing, walking around or and physical activity. Any ideas? Preferably something to do with cars. Also it can't require any money because I'm out of a job right now.
 
Need for Speed any other car racing game... as mentioned above, borrow it from a friend or buy it used...

Forza is a super fun way to kill time. Also, if you're into cars, you can binge Doug DeMuro on youtube. He's pretty entertaining

I pretty much watched all of his videos already. Dudes whack but it's really interesting finding out all the quirks

Maybe learn an instrument but on something car related, I can watch rally videos for hours on end, preferably videos with lots of wrc fiestas, and group N cars like evos and stis making crazy popping sounds.

Or or watch videos on how to fix something or building an engine.

Emulators. No cost. NES, SNES, Master System, Mega Drive, PS1, PS2, PS3, N64, GameCube from the top of my head have pretty good emulators.

Those which require BIOS can sometimes be a hassle, but Project64 for example is a download, install and go type emulator with no setting needed, you could already be playing Ocarina of Time 30 seconds from now. Everytime I'm sick I take the opportunity to visit games I once played/adored in my youth or didn't get to play since I didn't own the console.

Emuparadise is your friend. You might need to look a bit harder for most popular Nintendo-made titles, since they scrubbed them of good from most sites with a D&C a while back.

learn photoshop and illustrator. or if you already know how, then join fiverr and see if you can make a couple bucks. Kept me busy during harvey when I was stuck inside for 2 weeks.
 
Download Duolingo and master Spanish. Or any other language on there.

Or I did see a learn code app on a computer magazine that's free.

This. Check out dolphin emulator and then get a GameCube controller and plug in for your computer and then you can play just about any GameCube game free from your laptop
 
Mike Tornabene has some really fun car vids on his youtube channel too, could check those out.

If you're allowed to do leg exercises, don't stop and let your legs get weak. Do some leg extensions, seated leg curls, seated calf raises.
 
When I broke my back I ended up making a lot of music and doing a lot of art. Also was baked 24/7 and the time flew by. But honestly pick up crafts of some sort, or maybe just choose one random thing to get retarded good at. Like learn the fuck outta chess or something.
