i havent learned much, but just about everyone ive ever rode with thinks im a professional skier from lake louise canada. and that ive met lindsay vonn like 50 times at her house in utah (idk where she really lives) and that my dad runs/owns the mountain...

Bike cops get trained to ghost ride their bikes as far as they can so they can hit people with them, he was saying 30 ft is easy when you practice haha. Learned about a time he threw a bike at two crackheads
 
A couple years back in steamboat, morning side lift, a 60+ year old man showed me that you can put a little granola in your hand hold it out, whistle and a few birds will come out of the trees, sit on your glove and munch down.

I thought it was pretty sick stuff at the time.
 
Riding the singles line can be extremely interesting, especially when a guy next to you manages to fit an entire glass bottle of Jack into his pocket.
 
not learned but cool things that i do are play the harmonica, dubstep of the mouth, beat box/ rap battle, and mouth blue grass jams
 
i learned that when you tell your friend you have "the wierdest boner right now" while sitting next to a random stranger on the lift the ride gets real awkward real quick.

one time i was on a school trip to snowbasin, utah, and our ski instructor spent the whole chair ride telling us how we shouldn't watch porn. not because it's bad or anything, but because "it's an illusion" as in real life none of that ever happens. we all thought this was hilarious cos we were 14 at the time.

also last year i was on a chair in avoriaz with my buddy and this little girl, she was like 7 or something. she was with a bunch of kids for a lesson but it was only a three man chair so all the kids were spread out among the chairs. we got on the chair and my friend asked her, in french, if she was okay and she said, in french, she was okay. so anyway me and my buddy are chatting away when she turns round and says, in a slight accent, "you guys speak english?" we were like yeah we're from scotland, you speak english too? and she was just like "yeah i'm french but i speak german and english too, i'm fluent in both." this kid was barely big enough to get on the chair by herself with no help and she's trilingual. way to make me feel good about my language skills.

I dont know about you, but when Im in a foreign country and i find out someone else speaks english, we basically become best buds.

When i was in germany I saw this black dude in the city and he was wearing mad ghetto shit with gold teeth dreads etc... and he would've scared me in the U.S, and i heard him say something in english so I started talking to him and we chilled for like an hour and a half in a bar haha.
