well since we have all these threads about baseball now i might as well add my claim. A kid who graduated a few years ago who played for my high school baseball team got drafted 12th round to the yankees today. High 90's throwing closer. I singled off him in a JV vs V scrimmage when i got pulled up to play on jv. Thats my cliam to fame. Anyway, its nice to see someone go pro from such a small town like mine.

ya a kid from rochester named Cito Culver got drafted in 1st round 32nd pick to the yankees. my team used to play him all the time and he was always an animal. super nice kid and hes gone through some family troubles in the past year, so its nice to see him get this.

Thats dope that you singled off him! Maybe someday you might go to a game of the pros, and watch him, and be like, shit i singled off him, and impress a girl and well, who knows! haha

my claim to fame is i was at my uncles house when i was like 6 and I played wiffle ball with Ryan Zimmerman......He was like 11-12 at the time

Then my uncle moved and he became neighbors and also employed Mark Reynolds, and now they are best of friends......Too bad I live in NY not Virginia with my uncle haha

My brother is Bryce Haper and my cousin is Stephen Strasburg and my best friend is Roy Halladay.

My dining hall at college has nascar night, well, really its southern night with pulled pork, peach cobbler, potatoes, corn on the cob and a few other things, but we call it nascar night, and now so do the employees

a kid from my school who graduated a few years back was drafted by the brewers last year and ive played against ziomek who is a senior and was going to be a contender for a top spot in the next draft...ive singled off him and nearly had a homer but got ground rule dubbed...hes a solid kid though

My sister used to date Danny Duffy /claim... he got drafted in 2007 and he is getting pulled up to the show to play for the royals next season look him up really good lefty pitcher.

a kid from my school just got drafted to the dbacks, he throws in the mid 90s and has a choice to go either to the MLB or to Vanderbilt on full scholarship. And I'm friends with his brother

I declared for the NBA draft, however I was not chosen...... I probably should have at least been on my college team before I declared, but whatever.....and I might have lied about my height when I declared.....Oh well......

Kevin Gausman drafted by the Dodgers in the 6th round. got a hit off him, i think its pretty cool. This other kid Chris Anderson drafted in 09 in like the 28th round, i struck out /claim

My brother was clocked at 95 a few years ago. I hit a HR off him. /claim.

Carlos Pena grew up in the town next to me.../Claim

I know Jim Rice, Robert Perryman. I have met Roger Clemens and fellow juicer Jose Canseco.

Since this is a baseball claim fest. I got pitching lessons from an blue jays pitcher when I was little. And I never hit a foul ball when we each got to bat against him. Weak claim hahahah

yeah it's ziomek. he still hasn't decided whether or no to go to college. our entire town is currently worshipping him. The whole school showed up for his first playoff game and he got 13 K's like that.

hes already scommitted to play with vanderbilt so hes not gonna go straight to the mlb, he also didnt get a full ride to vanderbilt, he got a sweet scholarship but not even close to a full ride. but yeah ziomek is the fucking man, his nickname is also ISMOD (I suck my own dick)

well danny tamberelli (yes from pete and pete) his little sister was partying at my house last week!!!

Well my girlfriend was the highschool manager for Jesse Biddle who was drafted first round by the Phillies this yearclaim/

yeah how do you guys know about him? but yeah he's decided to go to vanderbilt for at least 2 years, so he got picked in the 13th round. if he didnt go to college he woulda gotten 3rd or 4th round. but yeah he's pretty much everyone's idol right now in my town

how about my team beat 6th round draft pick Kevin Gausmann in playoffs to eliminate his team just a few weeks ago. when he lost he spiked his glove into the ground and walked away crying. and there were so many scouts there to watch him do it.
