So I'm going to be moving to Kamloops in a month or so for the summer. I figured I might as well start now on making a list of cool stuff do.

Any locals know of any really cool things to do that don't cost too much? The only thing i've got right now is to jump of the red bridge.

Also, does anyone know of any good free camping in the area? Any nice places that aren't busy at all would be cool.

Thanks

yeaaaa jump off the bridge, float down the river, skatepark is dope, tons of great mtn biking here. not that much else haha

if you long/skateboard, go to the aberdeen mall at like midnight and up by the milestones resaraunt is a nice hill, nice as in no cars.

idk. take advantage of the gnarly hills.

copper island - drive >1 hour to blind bay then boat/paddle out. gnarly cliff jumpin.

also about 5 minutes by boat from blind bay is a way less crowded spot but only 2 decent jump spots.

no man the river actually has some good spots. Up psat the car dealerships there is a rope swing and after that a clay cliff drop thing its deece size but only like 8ft water but nice soft sand at the bottom.

If you climb the bridge on the mt paul side (opposite pioneeer park) you can jump off the lower beams. Its like 40 ft deep if you walk to the middle. The other side (pioneer park) is shallow and there are a ton of pilings under it so dont jump there. I suggest going with a few buddies and diving underneath and taking A look before you do it the first time.
