Im going to vail. ( Plans where made before the outlandish price hike ). Where is all the cool airs and hits. purely for filming purpose. With that being said, the airs need to be super fucking bad ass.

you could come in hot and air off the cornice lip thing into lovers leap. also check out chair 4 cliffs and theres a very large one way to the left of Rasputin.

I heard chads gap used to be near the parking lot at the bottom of alta. It was huge but I was told ski patrol blew it up. You can venture on your own but be careful because mfm and his crew guard the gulch like both koreas guard the DMZ.

Iron Mask on Blue sky basin has a pretty big lip, you could get gnarly off that. Steep and deep is good when the conditions are right, might be tough to film though. Pretty much stay away from the front side of the mountain on the weekends, the day trippers tend to leave the bowls alone.

Go to Beaver Creek instead...seriously.

this is so wrong.

there are a ton of cliffs all around vail its fucking massive. not to mention the side country off of blue sky basin has some really fucking large cliffs. in terms of sendible jumps hollywood jump under chair 4 (you can't miss it its a beautiful jump). best jibby shit on the mountain would be all over the chair 11 lift area. and as said above lovers can be sent huge on a good day, as well as many of the cliffs on earls bowl.

im also headed to vail from ohio so I wanna know where the gnarliest most fun shit at vail is and where I can find that. lemme know lift/run names that I gotta hit. some cliffs and some steep and deep.

Half of these kids on here only say negative shot because they've hopped on the 'Vail is the enemy,' band wagon. Here's the straight shit. Vail is a kickass mountain if you're not stupid with how you ski, seriously. I've been skiing here since I was 1. I've never had a problem with speeding tickets, or any other bs people rip on them for. They're honestly given an awful reputation for how fun of a mountain it is. Back to the point, YES, there are definitely some good natural hits and cliffs around the hill.

Underneath Lion's head gondola there are some gnarly hits usually

Ask a local about the 'Min turn mile.' It's essentially a 7 mile long tree run that runs into the next town. The entrance has a good hill that you could build a booter in. It's at most 200 feet from the nearest trail.

I've skied this same line for 10 years. Take the lions head gondola up, follow the underneath, then head into the trees next to chair 8, which is below the gondola. It has a quarter mile long stretch of trees with cliffs/drops that lead into the Bwana Terrain park.

Mid vail cliffs never disappoint.

Unless you're a resurrected jamie Pierre, don't ask about vail BC.

Have fun while you're out here.

Forgot to add blue sky basin. Mile long cat walk to get back there, but it's badass.

Field goal gap. Its on the west side of north star. Kinda hard to explain but it's on a little band of cliffs. It's fun. There's quite a few trannies on 11. Also blue sky has some great cliffs. Chair 4 whoopie is pretty fun too
