is there anything sweet at stratton , other than park? like little cliffs or something?

im from NY, and we are going out there for vacation

Theres definitely some nice glades if you know where to look. Not many cliffs bigger than 15 or so that I know of though.

there's a nice glade called upper kidderbrook ravine. its got a few 10-15 foot cliffs and a nice incline. now all you have to do is pray for snow.

strattons my home mountain but there is basically just park there not much "cliffs" but there are some fun glades

yeah seeing as this will be the first time for me trying cliffs, so anything more than like 10 is a little much lol

haha dude idk about stratton but if you are in to park you should get cliffs real quick and then 10 doesnt seem big at all. they are way easier on skis then on a board. its when you start tryin shit off em they get tricky

i go to stratton alot but i dont see many legit cliffs, just a few rocks that u can just kinda fall off of. where are u finding these cliffs?

There is a nice little 10 footer in the glades in SnowBowl area, then there is a slightly bigger one like 12-13ft that juts out onto a trail in the sunbowl area. Neither of them have all that great of a landing, but the one in sunbowl does if you take it like 30 feet length wise into the trail. Then there is some stuff off the backside on Firetower trail. Only do that though on fresh snow days and when you are with someone that knows the way, cus if you miss the cutoff to the road you are looking at a solid 3 hour hike out (not fun). The trail itself doesnt have a very good pitch to it at the beginning but gets going once you get into it where you wil find a ton of small jibabble shit(trees, stumps, rocks, cliffs). Thats just a start though. When are you going there? Im up there everyweekend, I would be happy to show you around.

yo i ski there every weekend and discovered some stuff off the fire tower but weres thesse 10-15's? off the right side of kidderbrook? where they at off whwat trail?

i ski there everyday, because i work there. pm me if you want to meet up. also if you need lift tickets let me know. i can get super deals on them. that actually goes for everyone if they want lift tickets.

If I told you I'd have to kill you. A lot of these cliffs are only a measely 10-15 but you can take them like 20-40 cause some of them have nice outruns. Others not so much, and totally sketch haha.

haha ya! Just check out some of the videos in my profile! I ski the dark side a lot but Bromley is my home mountain 4 lyfe! BMP. By the way, its not that I don't like you guys, but I have no way to begin to explain how to get to these places, I hardly even know the trail names at Stratton, I just know everything by seeing/skiing.

I honestly have no clue what the trail is called. If you are going down the mountain from the snowbowl lift, right before you get to the snowbowl lift theres that sharp S turn, instead of taking that turn you go straight into the woods, its a marked glades area I just forget the name, there is a 10 footer in there...as for off the firetower, theres not much as far as landmarks go back there but theres cliffs/drops bigger than 5ft back there, just some tiny stuff to play around on...at least that i have found

The new comp series is called "Friday Night Lights" and the first one is scheduled Dec 8th (i think). I checked the site and it's not on there yet so I could be wrong.

They built the access road up to the Tammarack Heights construction project. The development won't happen till the spring but the roads are all in place and there are some pretty sweet looking walls to drop once we get enough snow.
