i am in the process of building some rails and they are gonna end up kinda lookin like the rails you see at snow summit, the ones like in propoganda that steele spence was doin, they were red and black. Anyways, what are some good colors that the grind surface should be painted and what are some colors that the sides of the rail should be painted, any suggestions are welcome.

are you talkin about the huge trapazoid at snow summit? just leave the rail the color it is, most likely its black or silver. And I would make the support part red with a cool design or logo.

well the problem with leaving it the way it is is this. The grinding surface is brown, one side is dark green and one side is bright yellow, none of these colors look any good.

I would just paint it a normal color like silver or black then!

wizzlewoozle your a true moron, and i hope a 400 pound man sodomizes your asshole until it bleeds.

Matt, red and black would look nice for your rail, cant wait to hit it :)

when life gives you a lemon throw it at someone

don't paint it at all, then make it look ruggid and hard to do, then put it in a place which poeple think it would be hard, for example in calgary it just snowed 1 and a half feet. I made a drop off my roof. 15 feet. good landing and then big runway to 10 foot gap to half a rainbow rail. Its awesome. hard the first few times, but on camera it looks wicked. The rail is so well built, but it looks like shit, just old rusted piping, 'cept the grinding surface isn't rusted. Kinda like the rial in ski movie 2 the seth does. anyways. Making it look nice, costs alot, and a grungy old rail makes it look hard and risky. like no thought was put into it. thats your best bet.

blue sides with white surface or..if ur feelin creative..make a fade. Oh, and try using that anodize effect paint..it makes metal look like its anodized...looks really nice! (if it's a metal rail)
