Cool places in Portland?

Me and a buddy are headed up to Portland for the weekend.

Any reccomendations for cool spots to check out, mellow places to hang, places to party??

(other than on the mountain)

Washington park is favorite place to kick it, especially in the summer. You can take the max up there really easily and play frisbee, smoke in various random hideaways and other exciting yet relaxing activities. Portland is full of other awesome parks too, check out MT.Tabor, Waterfront Park and any other little neighborhood green space.
 
cool, i'll definitely check out washington park, stayin pretty close by to it.

anyone going to the NAOBF - north american organic brewers festival>?
 
if your stayin near washington square then you should probibally check out the 23rd area its pretty chill the hawthorn and belmont area which is across the river also is pretty chill there are a lotta hippies over there
 
Cruise over to the hawthorn district, cool shops and stuff there. Plus theres tons of wierd people to look at. But more importantly you should head east to hood, thats my favorite place

but you should definitley check out washington park, council crest, there are a ton of sick places to just chill in the 503

best denim shop in the Northwest.

Spendy as fuck but really nice.
