Cool custom rail ideas?

Sunday, a friend and I are going to go up to his house in the country to work on some rails for this season. Supposedly, he has an pold police car frame out there we're going to turch and beef up into a cool looking rail. Another idea I had was to find a truck bed and strenghten the two side walls to use as rails, so you could get some two person rail action going on. Anyone else have any ideas for rails or boxes made out of shit you normally wouldn't think of? We have access to a full set of metalworking equipment, so welding, chopping, torching, and grinding are no problem.

Have you ever seen a little kid slide back down the inrun of a kicker without going over? This is why parents shouldn't dump their kids off anywhere near the park...

Crazy idea I just had you could maybe do... a box/rail. It's a rail, but you put a real light box over it that's movable. In the box there's a shape cut out for the rail to fit in.

The purpose is simple: generally, boxes are easy and rails hard (there are exceptions, of course). When you feel like practicing stuff like 270 in, switch up, 450 off for the first time, you do it with the box until your comfortable, then take it off, and try the rail. When you want to have fun trying crazy stuff, do the box, when you want a challenge, do the rail.

Although if this was in a park, the box part would get stolen within an hour, and everyone is probably going to bash this idea anyways.

make a rollercoaster c box, where in the middle, it goes so tall and so much of an angle it can be used as a wallride.

This year I have a 'independent metal study' which means that I can just screw around in a sick metal shop for a hour every day and this is what I'm building: It's a trapazoid C-box about 2 feet on the ends and 4 feet in the middle. The middle section of the box is slanted so it can also be used as a a wallride. It will be sicckkk.

i wanna see a rainbow, which stops a little past the top, and drops, and then have a down come out and go for quite a bit. so thtat you can fly off the top of the rainbow and disaster or spin onto the down of the rail.

West, nice going on that independent metal study. Sounds like yur gonna end up with some sick stuff. I don't completely picture your description of the trap/c box thing though. Post a sketch mabye?

get an old volkswagon bus, and stick it on the snow at your resort, you could gap it or slide it whatever you want, our resort had one when i was like 8

i wanna see a 15 ft flat to a 6 ft down, 6 ft flat to a 15 foot down itd be sick to slide and sick for gapping from the first flat to the last down. soo many tech tricks could go down.

 
get a old vw bug and have a rainbow follow the curve of the car ,,, and build akinky c rail you know a c made of multiple straight rails instead of one curved rail ,

make a trapezoid rail/box. have rails going up and down and then have a box on the flat top so you could spin on it

ok, i got it. Get an old truck, and take off the tailgate, and the sides of the bed in back, so it's just the flat bed. Then make a rail that is flat for about 10 feet of the bed, then curves up into a kicker type rail going up the cab part (from the back, launching to the front of the truck). Next, put a box slanting down on the hood of the truck, with about a 5 foot gap between the 2 rails. Then just park the truck, tow into it, slide the kicker rail and gap to the down box, for easier landing. oh the possibilities!
