Convincing parents wiht a jib

hey i gto everything to build my dream set up/ pvc a nice drop in and a ton of wood. my parents no tht i am a dedicated skier but they wont let me build it any seggustions

^haha yea that's what my mom thinks. i have to put it way to the side and it kills the grass and shit.

haha i have to move my trampoline every week so it doesnt kill the grass. and i havnt built a jib yet but my parents are ok with it. i would try asking your dad for help or something. maybe he just doesnt want you to wreck yourself on a sketchy setup

Nah my set-ups fine. Its just it looks ugly, and my parents really care about my yard, so it just wont happen.

you can somehow try to turn it into something nice. my winter setup is a dirt pile that my mom can plant flowers on in the summer lol

as of now were hiding a couple of my rails as fencing. haha

but right now its not doable. a huge mangle of metal just wont cut it.

idk man maybe just set it up anyway when theyre away? thats what i did. i had a rail that i had previously only used in winter. one day while the parents were gone i went to home depot, bought some turf, and came home and set it up on the hill in my yard. parents got home and didnt really know what to say. now i have a compromse, i can keep my set up but have to put it away/out of sight when not using it. also did that another time, parents came home and we were unloadng 3 pickups of ice rink snow. they ddnt really know what to say about that either.

yea unloading 3 pickups full of snow wont make my parents the happiest persons in the world, too hehe

btw I had the same problem with my summer setup and I just set it up once and now its like all the time if I dont use it I have to put it away, cuz then nobody sees it and it doesnt kill the grass.
