*CONTRAVERSIAL THREAD WARNING* OIL spill

Ya, that's actually a pretty common saying... but what's your point?

That by giving up oil now, he actually causes more change than if he just sat around waiting? If that's what you're saying, it has really no bearing on what I'm getting at.

my point was that waiting around for change to happen is the perfect way to never have any change happen.

but i'm not entirely sure what you're getting at. care to elaborate before i jump to any conclusions?

sure... but if that's as creative as you can get -- i wouldn't really bother with the whole school thing anyways.

you could move to any of the places at the bottom of this list:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_carbon_dioxide_emissions

though the irony that most of the islands are most at threat from global warming

Or, maybe you could do something like

-- just don't puss out after 2 years.

As long as you don't become the Dali Lama, i would also bet that monks have a pretty small carbon footprint.

point is there's a lot of stuff out there that you don't want to do; our addiction to oil is so bad, you don't even want to imagine it.

wow when i first responded i thought people were not going to get hooked like they usually do and spend a while getting into an e-argument with some fucker

your both wrong, if you want to change and help then start by sending letters to influential people regularly, get some followers, organize protests... there is always something you can do , but some aren't as easy as pushing a button. democracy

no, we're both saying that i think. at least i am. i was saying that there are lots of things you can do.

i pretty much agree with this dude.... mistakes were made and should be learned from.. nothing much anyone can do for now besides clean up..

and north korea is most likely trying to start a war haha...
