Contour HD !!!

Hey hows it going?Ive been lookin for a helmet camera for the next season, I never had one so I dont know if I am goin to use it that much...

First I thought of the gopro 960 beacuse of its price of 180 approx, but then heard it sucks.

I am not willing to pay for the 1080 gopro, I dont want to put more than 250 for sth I dont know if I am going to use a lot

And now, I just spotted on amazon the 1080 contour HD cam for 140... seems like a good deal...

Is it?

Personally I would Buy the GOPro 960, same camera as the 1080 apart from the resolution. The mounts for contours are not as good as GOPro's, the circular mount you can adjust the angle on is a good idea, but if you fall it comes off and if snow gets in you can get it back on again.

Id just get the 960 GOPro, its such a good price, and the res is good for action sports as you get a squarer view rather then the wide view of the 1080.
 
you heard the 960 sucks? most kids who buy the 1080 only shoot in 720 anyway. Filming at 1080 eats away an SD card's memory.
 
lol, filming at 720p 60fps (which is what i and most other people always film at) takes up as much space as 1080p 30fps.
