yesterday mt snow got like 4 inches of snow (epic pow!!!11!) so i decided to put the extreme back into mount snow and try out my contour hd. i've seen very few ski videos with this thing, and i have a feeling it'd be terrible in super sunny conditions, but i was pretty happy with it. just wanted to post something for people considering getting it
my main gripe was with the goggle strap mount and the weight of the camera, i found the camera was bouncing around all over my head the whole time so it leads to super shaky footage, as seen in the parts where i go a bit faster in super chopped up shit
so the first is just raw footage from 1 run just to get a sense of wind noise and everything, and the second is an edit i did from the day just for fun. first one is a bit boring fwiw
this was also my first time ever doing anything with video, so tips/critique are much appreciated
i didn't do anything to the footage except clip it, so no processing has been done. the real quality is a bit better than this because ns doesn't love hd and i had to edit it in imovie (fail, dont ever use it)
