Continuous Shot on a DLSR

Im still learning my way around photography and tommorow im chilling with my cousin whos a pretty good skateboarder and id like to make some sequences... Only Problem is I don't know how to use the continuous shot mode well. I got my camera to take two shots with one shutter release but can't get anymore.

Any suggestions or answers???

 
i shoot canon but ill try to help (dont know the menus on nikon) but put it on full manuel and there should be a menu that (on my it says drive mode) is something like that and put it on conttinous mode then (at least on mine) just hold down the shutter and it should just keep taking but if that fails either look in the little system booklet or try and google it
 
i actually realized that my battery was almost dead and thats why it only took two and i got a fresh battery in and it works thanks for the suggestions though dude +k
