Contests: Members should be able to create contest!

Users should be able to create a contest. If for whatever reason they don't pull through and get you the "winners prize" it will be left on their feedback. Reputable people could have some awesome contest!
 
Nope. Contest's generate way to much revenue for this site. As in you have to pay to hold one.

everyone can do it= less money.
 
Actually we are allowing some cults to create their own contests if they come to us with a legitimate idea. What we don't want is a million user generated contests clogging up the contest section and taking focus away from the legit ones.

if you think you have a good idea then feel free to let me know and we can chat about it.
 
what about if there were just "User contests" under the main ones?

I really don't understand how they bring revenue to the site?
 
I don't think there is an issue there. Try thinking a little harder about what a bunch of pre teens will do if they can make a contest as long as its "cool". It will an even worse shit show in NSG than it already is.
