does anyone else think that NS users might be exploiting the site too much to win dumb contests on the internet? i think it's generating apathy. bishop has had a contest thread in ski gabber for over a week and its only gotten 36 replies. BISHOP has a STICKY thread about our power, as a site, to win contests, and nobody is helping...i think maybe it's time we realize that this site should only be used to win contests if the reward is something legit, like a car or a laptop or something expensive...not just if you want to win a 12-pack of cokes.otherwise people are gonna stop giving a shit and not want to help other people out any more. that's my piece, gotta go take an astronomy final...WOOO IM ABOUT TO GRADUATE
 
well, you have to remember, a lot of people may vote but not post. Or people who are guests may see it and vote anyways. I for one vote but usually don't post cause i think everyone who votes then writes "done" is pretty much asking for karma
 
good point, but i still think people should use more discretion when it comes to using NS for contest-winning purposes to preserve its power, cause EVENTUALLY people WILL get sick of it and it may get to the point where mods will have to delete contest threads
