Contacts + Skiing?

my eyes seem to give me lots of problems when i ski becuase i can't see if i'm not wearing them but if i do they get dried out. they dry out with goggles on too because of the vents but then i just blink a little and the problem is solved..
 
i wear them all the time. even with goggles though my eyes do get kind of dried out but its not that big of a deal. only time it drives me nuts is when its real windy out because then they water real bad at first and then get really dried out
 
One day i double ejected and one of my contacts got knocked out of my eye, so i had to ski the rest of the day with super crappy vision

but every other day they've been just fine
 
yeah dude i need to start wearing mine more often. It's just so fucking hard to get in the habit.

The thing for me is that my left eye is wayyy shittier than my right so i was fine skiing for a while when I just spun normally, but now that I'm doing more switch tricks i need my left eye a lot more (i look over my left shoulder).

 
Its just like wearing them normally, with the added bonus of being safer than skiing blind or with glasses (which can get knocked off, broken or lost)
 
Works normally for me. I forgot them once, it sucked. I wear them all the time now, ocean or mt. As long as you put it in the solution every night and make sure they're clean for the next day it's perfect. If your eyes get dry they have something you can use throughout the day to moisten them.
 
just make sure you have good goggles and its no prob. with a shitty pair of goggles i've actually had the contact ripped out of my eye when your going fast.

and i hope everybody cleans their contact everynight. thats pretty gross if you dont
 
and by cleaning them i dont mean putting them in a dirty hotel room glass with your friends solution that doesnt like to neutralize. it burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnssss
 
or putting them on, swimming in a chlorine pool and opening your eyes under water then falling asleep with them that night. or wearing them camping and getting dirt and ashes in them. I learned the hard way, always clean your contacts!
