Consistency Issues

I have been having some inconsistency in the park a lot. This is my first year really trying to park ski a lot and I have progressed a huge amount. I've landed 3s and front flips and I'm really comfortable on rails. THe problem for me is that I can't land shit consistently. I'll land a 3 one run, then on the next one, ill have a complete yard sale and eat shit. When I land a trick right tho, i'll land clean, just a lil sloppy, but I still feel like I'm not in any control. I can barely land 270 off too I ussually have to slide out the last 90 degrees. Any help with progressing more, being in more control and landing consistent? And don't want any hating, just need some help

The best way to learn is pracice practice practice. If you have any access to a backyard setup or something you can shred ALL the time i would take advantage of it. My backyard setup has greatly improved my skills and i suggest that you try it out.

Keep shredding and have a good day!

Ya I used to have this problem a lot, then I realized that when I was doing poorly, I just was not super focused on the trick I was attempting. I learned that I always stomp my tricks when I'm completely focused on the trick and only the trick while I'm doing it

just practice more on the tricks. Figure out your needed speed and how fast you need to move in the air whether it's flipping or doing a 360. also always try a feature doing nothing on it before you try something so you know what you need to do.

Lots of practice also try to keep the way you do tricks consistent/the same because if you're doing tricks differently every run or so then you're going to be really inconsistent and fall on tricks you know you can do.

what i have found really helps me, idk bout you, but if you envision your self doing the trick right before you drop, i do much better. just watch yourself do it before you drop in. It really helps me. Good luck and keep at it bro

hey I live in the midwest too, and that's not a problem. fake turf or orange fencing wetted down work GREAT, and in the fall/winter go to your local ice rink and see if they have the zamboni'd snow out back in huge piles - mine does, and they don't care if you take any.

Good luck!

This. At the start of this season i had never slid a rail. Got a double barrel in my backyard and now i can 2 off and 360 at my home hill. I also couldnt even spin on boxes cuz i was scared shitless.
