Conservative college?

Not politically, but does anybody know of any really conservative schools (Not jesus schools) where you don't find much alcohol, drugs, etc? I'm not looking for one, but I was at a party tonight and there was alota coke, and naturally alot of smoking and drinking and somebody said "Welcome to College" and it got me thinking. So ya, anybody?
 
don't goto collge parties....cuz it just gets worse. i was a a party a couple weekends ago with an entire table filled with coke and the cops came in. thank god we were all 21 and someone locked that doors room......wow.
 
I was at a college party. I'm not looking to go to a super conservative school, although I would enjoy the no drinking/drugs thing; I was just wondering if there were any.
 
word, its very very conservative but it still has its alcohol and weed. you probably wont find as much coke, unless you travel into the north end of hartford
 
you guys have coke out your parties? i applied to the wrong school.

by the way, inner city dealers love cutting their coke with glass for the suburbian white kids. not only is it funny to the dealers to shred the inner nose of the rich white kids but it makes it weigh more too, thus they can make their pure coke go the distance= better profit. just a little fyi.
 
princeton is full of dickheads. I stayed over with a track kid there, and he was cool but the rest of the college was full of snob pieces of shit. Dartmouth is the shit though, if you have good grades definitely look into it. Really good academics, party school, tons of beer, close to skiing.
 
princeton conservative?? i love 5 minutes from the campus and trust me when i say that it has one very very crazy party scene and the camous is never dry
 
just because its a prodeminatly conservative school, does not mean there wont be parties. almost all schools no matter what are going to have parties unless you're talking about extremely small (1,0000) christian schools
 
I tried to snort coke once, but the ice cubes got stuck in my nose.

Oh, and Stowebum, Lehigh is also right up there with Trinity for partying and academics.
 
not going to a school because some students there are doing blow or any drugs is the stupidest thing i've ever heard someone complain about. if you don't want to be around coke, goto another room in the house....typically there is the coke lair and then it's just a normal party. why are you worried anyway, its not like people are gonna be like 'oh man please snort this, i would love to pay for you to do my coke.' if you don't buy it, you won't do it. eventually coke is always going to be around you, it probably is around you right now, you're oblivious to it. so just suck that shit up and go some place for the location or another good reason.

imagine if you didn't goto college because other people drank around "Yeah, i dropped out of school because i didn't want to do drugs" fucking halarious
 
Have you read any of the posts I've made? Don't be such an asshole, if you read what I had written, you would have seen that I'm not looking to go to one, I was simply wondering if they were around.
 
And why the fuck would it matter to you so much if I DID want to go to a school to learn, instead of going to a school where I could get Coke if I wanted to?
 
i dont udnerstand why going to a school where drugs and alcohol are around woudl affect u... as long as u stay focused on ur classes and studies it shouldnt affect u either way
 
wow, there are so many dumb kids here. Don't drink, don't smoke, don't do any drugs, I Have plenty of self control, I was simply wondering one simple fuckin question, IF IT EXISTS. If I hated it so much that I couldn't study with drugs around, I wouldn't have come to UVM to begin with.
 
ahahaha, check out bob jones university. They don't let you hold hands wiht a girl on campus, and if you date a black chick you are expelled. They used to not let black people in until they got sued. And the funny thing is, I'm completely serious
 
Dude, get serious man. Are you seriously trying this hard to shelter yourself from drinking and shit? Get a life and have some fun man. Take advantage of your college years and live it up, because after that the real world starts man, and you will be working for the rest of your life. Seriously, people need to stop buying into propaganda and think for themselves. A little beer and weed isn't going to kill you man. Go to a regular college, and do what college kids do.
 
unless you go to a jesus school or just dont go out your gonna run into that shit all the time, you just gotta learn to deal its not like everyone at college blows lines, or u can stick your head in the sand that works to but its not as fun. What other people do is there concern as long as your not at a total coke party youll have fun
 
I find it interesting you say he should think for himself and then tell him to do what college kids do.

Not everyone likes drinking. Not everyone wants to do it.
 
I get where you're coming from, and yes, even if you have tons of self control and no interest into drugs or shit like that, if you make friends, they will be around you and it'll make for uncomfortable situations no matter what....buuuuuuuuuuuuut you also gotta look at what everyone else is saying in that it is unavoidable and although it may be slightly prevented it cannot be totally abandoned
 
youre going to HSC? i have a friend there. why mens college? i went to girls school my whole life so for college i clearly went co-ed, why did you decide mens was the way to go?
 
answering your question i'd have to say no unless obviously your looking at a military school or a small religious school etc. i highly doubt there is a high school in the US where kids don't do coke so collegewise i'm pretty sure its a definite no.
 
i'd look for a super liberal college. chances are those kids will all be asians, nerds or stoners and nothing scummy like coke will come around.
 
Well I was at UVM, so that's pretty damn liberal to begin with. I'm not worried about it, I was just curious. The schools I'm looking at for transfering to are definitly not 'super I love Jesus' schools, I was just wondering.
 
sam- i will actually answer your question: no- it doesn't exist. i'm pretty much positive that unless it's government affiliated and real jesusy every college party at every college will always have that room with like 10 chairs around a glass coffee table.
 
but it also depends on who you hang out and party with. there will be parties like that, but there will also be parties that are alot less illicet. it just depends on the crowd. And then even still,there is a large portion of students just about anywhere you go who would rather sit in and watch a movie on a tuesday night...
 
just chill with kids who aren't coke heads and you won't have a problem. i go to one of the largest party schools in the country and you can stay away from the harder stuff if you choose your friends wisely.
 
All I can suggest is to get over it. Don't go to the coke room or find a crowd that is more alligned with your views/style/whatever.

Or you could go to BYU or BJU

CU is pretty conservative-

My Peace and Conflict studies prof- "You guys know so much more about coke than I do. The last time I tried to blow coke, I laughed and sneezed and it went everywhere!" (*points to a student in the front row) "He was there."

And then there was my Philosophy in Society prof who brought in a "doctor" to tell us about how heroine has no ill effects on the human body and then used that to try to support some arguement for the legalization of heroine.
