Consequences of jail breaking Iphone

My friend told me to jail break my I phone and I want to, but I have kind of slow gateway PC, will it be able to handle it, what legal issues am I facing, problems with Iphone/computer?

It can't break your ipod and it most likely(unless you have the worlds shittiest comp) cause any trouble for your computer

jailbreaking just voids your warranty. that's all pretty much, so just jailbreak at your own risk. apple can't help you once you jailbreak, unless you restore it to factory settings in itunes.

but be careful. i tried jailbreaking my ipod, bricked it, and lost all of my music. the worst part was all that music was on my old computer that i got rid of, so it's pretty much gone forever.

if you need to bring it back to apple for any reason, you can un-jailbreak it by restoring it to factory settings, it's "Virgin" state.

its not worth it, to many viruses out there
