Ya but the UK and even moreso the US support putting Uyghur Muslims in concentration camps by continuing to buy Chinese goods and outsource manufacturing to slave labor plants in China so like we're any better? Just because we don't allow it on our soil doesn't mean we aren't the reason it is happening.

Awful. And numerous US corperations (and probably UK ones too) are CURRENTLY outsourcing manufacturing to these forced labor concentration camps in China. So my question is, how is the US any better to allow its companies to exploit, enable, and profit off of slave labor in other countries? While US consumers make up the vast majority of people buying these goods...

we will not focus on making things within the country so long as we are allowed to outsource to cheap labor in other countries. Do you think there should be laws implemented restricting where US companies can outsource manufacturing ? I think the unfortunate case is that our government is too far intertwined with these corporations who have no moral qualms exploiting slave labor because they are only concerned with making as much money as possible

and furthermore, Americans are too apathetic to care where and how their products are made- which is what enables these corporations to continue nefarious operations
