i'm looking for skis for next year and i'm look for something in the 150 range... i was looking at the 05 skogens in the 158's but all of my local ski shops are recommmending a 150-155... i'm 5'0ft and about 105lbs any help on what size ski i should get?

im around the same height and weight as u and im getting the new 162 line mothership flites so u could probably go with skis bigger than 150-155

 
yeah the 05's are now 178....

I promoted my CVS and Stop and Shop card from the inside slits to the outside ones...my Blockbuster and gym ID got pissed off, but I told them, sorry guys, laminated plastics just can't cut it in the big leagues

you wont even know the difference of 2 cm. i went from 170 to 184 pollards and the only difference i noticed was when carving really fast.

If I could I would, but I can't. Now shut the hell up.

it all depends on how well u ski and if ur strong. a 160 would be alright cept look for a soft ski

oh ya, dont listen to ski stores. they dont give a shit about u. they just wanna sell ya a ski

^That's not always the case, but being 5'3, my ski store was skeptical about directing me towards a ski larger than 155. I easily went from a 150 to a 168 though, and loved it. It really depends on how you ski, and whether you like a longer or shorter ski. Ski shops will generally tell you to go for the shorter ski, but won't stop you from buying the longer one.
