Confused as Hell with measurements.

I've been deciding what to get for new skis. I ski east coast, but Im going to banff for a week so I wanna get something with some decent am performance. Anyways Im debating between sizes (width). I have 1st gen PEs right now which are supposed to be: 113/80/104. I measured mine edge to edge and came up with roughly 120/83/112. WTH?

If anyone has suggestions for skis that are wide enough for a week of raunchy powder, but i can still dick around on them a bit fire away.

if you know how to ski any ski can ski powder, look at glen plake

^ exactly. People used to have nothing but skis with like 75mm waists

Maybe take a look at the K2 seth vicious.

I would stick with PEs or a ski of the same class such as the AR6 or Karma. Remember that if you ski mostly east coast, you will wish you had them narrower more of the time then you want them fatter.
