Conditions at Big Sky?

How are the conditions at Big Sky holding up with all these days in the mid 40's? Is the snow in the park at least somewhat decent? Also do you guys think it will hold up for another 3 weeks? I have a trip planned over spring break and I'm just wondering if I'm wasting my time considering I went last year at the same time and it was total shit..

This confuses me.

The temps you're probably seeing at in the village, the best skiing is a good 1000' higher, so I'm sure the snow is great, the tram/bowl triple/challenger/headwaters is probably all pretty nice, it just won't be "fresh" snow. The park is on the lower lift so maybe itll be slushy, which in my mind would be good...

I'm also headed to montana in a couple weeks and im hyped to shred some steep slush runs in the afternoon.

Well we've been experiencing the same warm temps as everywhere else these past few weeks. The base is still holding up fine but the freeze/thaw cycle is pretty fucked. Shit up high doesnt soften up til at least 11, but the groomers and the park are still riding fast and fun. Jumps are tits right now, both moonlight and big sky south parks have a banger setup. I wouldnt cancel your trip, there's still plenty of fun shit to ride and who knows, maybe we'll get some snow soon.
