Concussions from skiing

I took a very basic gentle fall and rolled to my head turn out I got a concussion never that a fall like that while wearing a helmet would end like that. Has anyone else experience concussions associated with skiing?

Yes, I do believe you are the only one. GIving that our sport is extremely safe with very few accidents, concussions are very rare.

No helmet in the world is going to save you from a concussion. A helmet will help to soften the impact of your skull but there isn't a single helmet that is "bulletproof".

Your best bet is a full face though, save the rest of your face from some serious damage. Always wear a helmet, its not going to make you invincible but it'll help protect your precious skull full of fat and protein.

I tripped in ski boots and hit my head on a flower pot resulting in a concussion

Knuckled a jump doing a 7 and got pretty torn up. Ice rash all over my face, and a broken wrist. Still dont even remember the crash
