Concidering dreads

tons of people have told me to dread my hair. its so curly, it basically dreads itself. im thinkin of going all the way though. i think it would look pretty sweet. you guys have any opinions or maybe pointers to help me out?

Ponder this- Marley was from Jamaica. It is much different from America. Many bugs. Ive been there and was bitten by mosquitos or horseflys whatever many times when we were in the forests. I don't think she will have this problem....

gracie... dont do it. your hair is so sick as it. if you change it, i will kill you... because any girl would KILL to have that hair existing on your head!!!
 
i also have blond curly hair and well.. i was like mabey i'll get threads to show the world that i'm down and lazy but then i was like naw i would look like a retartd i think your hair looks good already,

i dunno i think dreads are sick, but you would have to grease and tease it with your hair, plus your hair looks good so..
 
haha gracie that would look pretty dope. You'd look pretty either way, but just remember, going dreads is a big commitment. And your hair looks great, I seen curlier.
 
well, either way, i think you're good. but dreads do look fuckin sick on chicks, when they pull them off. You look like you'd pull em off. But my opinion is nothing, chances are I'll never meet you face to face, so do what you want :)
 
they aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be if you take care of them. they're so easy to just let go and get all nasty and but hippies are cool. i personally haven't seen very many girls with dreads but just take care of them and they'll be alright
 
not all dreads look gross. i would do it. im planning on doing it as soon as i move out of my parents house. my hair is curly as shit too.
 
um, I would say don't ge them, your hair is pretty as it is, and dreads seem to be more meant for guys
 
no, i think dreads on girls can look really cool, and they would probably look good on you, but your hair is beautiful now. i say only go through with the effort of creating dreads if you really want them. plus, well, it would be a pain no to be able to wash your hair for a while.
 
i was at this one reggae concert, and i saw the hottest girl i had ever seen... with dreads. it doenst make people any less desirable or anything like that. do whatev ya want
 
No... dreads on chicks are a bit ugly I find. Well there's the chance that it turns out cool, but is it worth the risk? Your hair is pretty cool as it is (although we can't see all that well on the picture).
 
if it were possible for you to have dreads for one or a couple days and then just get rid of them, then you should do it. But isn't the whole process of getting them basically not cleaning your hair at all?
